The American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics created National Nutrition Month to educate individuals on healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle. A few suggestions to help celebrate National Nutrition Month are:
- Have a healthy potluck with friends or co-workers
- Attend a lunch-and-learn put on by a Nutritionist or Dietician
- Substitute junk and/or processed food and with fruits and vegetables
- Add fruit or vegetables to every meal
