Universal Human Rights Month

In 1948, 3 years after the end of World War II, the United Nations General Assembly declared the basic human rights of each person on the planet. They put forth 30 articles covering everything from health, education, freedom and many more. The goal was to help protect civilians during a time of war or dictatorship and ensure freedom and safety for all.
