Most people only think about applying sunscreen when they are going to the beach or at a pool. Did you know you should be protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays anytime you are outside even when the sky is cloudy. That means if you are taking the dog for a walk, mowing the lawn, gardening, at a baseball game or other outside activities you should be wearing UV blocking clothing or sunscreen to avoid getting a sunburn and lessen your chances of developing skin cancer.
