Men’s Health Month

Raising awareness about the health issues in men and motivating them to get detected and treated for any possible diseases early is the main objective of Men’s Health Month.

Women visit their doctors for annual preventive services almost 100% more than men; therefore, men are more likely to suffer from color blindness, loss of hearing, cancer and early death.

Some of the top health threats for men include cardiovascular disease, lung cancer, prostate cancer, diabetes, AIDS, HIV, depression and suicide. Just by visiting the doctor regularly, forming healthy eating habits and staying active, men can greatly decrease their risk of these health threats.

This month, spread the word and give men’s health a boost!
